Are you considering going back to school to earn a post-secondary degree? The College Access for Everyone (CAFE) program can help you make the transition and provide you with the skills to succeed in college.

The CAFE program consists of classes in writing, mathematics, and computer technology. Classes are held on a college campus to help students become familiar with the college environment. College and career counseling and study skills are components of the program. The program is funded by a Maine College Transitions grant.

For more information and an application, please attend one of the following information sessions. Both sessions are at The Learning Center on 121 York Street in Bangor.

Tuesday, August 17th at 9:00 a.m.

Thursday, August 19th at 3:00 p.m.

Are you considering going back to school to earn a post-secondary degree? The College Access for Everyone program can help you make the transition!

The College Access for Everyone program assists aspiring students in preparing to be successful in college. The program offers the following components:

  • Career counseling
  • Counseling regarding the college selection and application process
  • Assistance in applying for financial aid
  • Courses in mathematics, writing, and technology at a college campus to assist students in improving Accuplacer scores
  • College prerequisite courses such as Algebra I, Algebra II, Biology, Chemistry and Anatomy & Physiology
  • Experience in the college setting
  • Academic support through the Learning Center
