Are you considering going back to school to earn a post-secondary degree? The College Access for Everyone (CAFE) program can help you make the transition and provide you with the skills to succeed in college.

The CAFE program consists of classes in writing, mathematics, and computer technology. Classes are held on a college campus to help students become familiar with the college environment. College and career counseling and study skills are components of the program. The program is funded by a Maine College Transitions grant.

For more information and an application, please attend one of the following information sessions. Both sessions are at The Learning Center on 121 York Street in Bangor.

Tuesday, August 17th at 9:00 a.m.

Thursday, August 19th at 3:00 p.m.



Bangor Adult and Community Education offers a comprehensive high school diploma program for those seeking to earn their diploma.  Classes are held on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.  High school diploma classes are free if taken for high school diploma credit. However, students must purchase any textbooks for a class.
Prospective students should call the adult education office at 992-5523 to schedule an appointment with the Director to review their high school transcript.
