Registering a student in the Bangor School Department Parents of new and current students in Bangor schools are requested to download either the Registration Form (for new students) or the Update Form (for returning students) and return the form to your child's school as soon as possible before the start of the 2009-2010 school year. This process will greatly assist the compilation and accuracy of data entered into the district's new student information system. General information regarding school registration: Two forms of proof of residency are required for registration. These include: Maine driver's license; utility receipt; dated real estate tax bill; dated rental / lease agreement; dated excise tax receipt. The physical address determines which school a child attends.
