Our library page was designed to give you information about what is happening in our school library, as well as give you links to valuable websites for assisting your budding readers. The site will be updated monthly to let you know what is happening in the library, what new books have been received, and what authors/illustrators we have "met." The link to the Bangor Public Library will let you know what is going on at our wonderful public library.

There is a wealth of information on the BPL website from new books at the library to helping your child get ready to read. Well worth exploring.

We have sampled many books in the new year: the new Caldecott Award winner as well as past winners, Martin Luther King, Jr. books, Valentine books, and Black History books. So many books, so little time!

In March we will actually meet Maine author/illustrator Kevin Hawkes. He will visit Fourteenth Street School on the morning of March 7. His books will be available for purchase at the March 1 Dr. Seuss celebration and can be autographed when Mr. Hawkes is here. Ask your children about his books!
