Bangor School Department Employee Workplace Online Training
The Bangor
School Department uses the Coastal LMS to provide employees with workplace
training through the ClarityNet online training delivery platform. The Coastal
LMS provides customized content to all employees in a standardized manner. The
system includes record keeping and reporting components that ensure the
training status of each employee and compliance with annual training
requirements for their job classification. The components available are:
- Blood borne pathogens
- Recognizing and reporting child abuse
- Student confidentiality / FERPA and HIPAA Facts
- Preventing sexual harassment
- Office ergonomics
Employees
may use a web browser on an Internet-connected computer to access the
interactive, multimedia courses. The ClarityNet courses feature high-end
graphics, text, audio and hands-on exercises. Employees login to the site with
a unique User ID and Password. The management system presents each user with
unlimited access to courses required by job classification and tracks each
