Congratulations to Kate and Emily, eighth graders at James F. Doughty School who won a gold medal at the Maine National History Day competition for their documentary film, “The Triumph and Tragedy of Santo Tomas.” They will go on to compete at the National History Day competition in Washington, D.C. in June.
