The BSD will be offering a booster clinic with Bangor Public Health and Community Services at Bangor High School on June 8, 2022, 3:00 – 4:30 pm in the cafeteria.
Please bring:
- COVID-19 vaccine card or proof of last vaccine to determine eligibility
- Insurance information
- Face coverings are optional
Consent forms will be available on site or available on the Bangor School Department website.
Summer clinics will be held every Thursday from 8-1 for ages 5+. Clinics will be held at Bangor Public Health, 103 Texas Avenue in Bangor. Please call or e-mail ahead for an appointment. (once the vaccine for people aged 4 and under is approved (approximately June 18th), BPH will offer the vaccine during the regular Thursday clinic. Eligibility Guidelines:
1st Booster:
CDC recommends a booster of either Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for:
- People 12 years and older at least 5 months after the final dose in the primary series
- People who are moderately or severely immunocompromised, at least 3 months after the final dose in the primary series
2nd Booster:
CDC recommends a 2nd booster of either Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at least 4 months after the 1st booster for:
- Adults ages 50 years and older at least 4 months after the 1st booster
- People who are moderately or severely immunocompromised at least 4 months after the 1st booster
