What do you get when a unicorn, a fox, and Sam the Ram show up at school before the first bell?
A magical Fairmount welcome, of course!
Students arriving at Fairmount School this morning were greeted by a special trio ready to start the day with smiles, waves, high-fives, and plenty of school spirit. Sam the Ram teamed up with a friendly and familiar-looking unicorn and fox to make sure every student felt excited and welcomed as they entered the building.
From surprised looks to lots of laughs, the morning arrival was full of energy and fun. Thank you to our amazing staff members for helping create a positive start to the day and reminding students that Fairmount on Broadway is a place where everyone belongs!

Dear Bangor School Department Families, Staff, and Community Members,
As part of our ongoing facilities planning process, the Strategic Planning Committee is seeking feedback from our community as we work to evaluate the current and future needs of our schools.
During recent community listening sessions, we presented information about the challenges and opportunities facing our school facilities. We encourage everyone to review the presentation, which can be accessed here:
Listening Session Presentation: https://aptg.co/lB7VQQ
Within the presentation, you will find both a direct link and a QR code that will take you to a community survey. We value your perspective and encourage you to take a few moments to share your thoughts. Your feedback is an important part of this process and will help inform the committee's recommendations as we plan for the future of Bangor's schools.
The survey will remain open through September 10, 2026. We encourage you to participate before the deadline to ensure your voice is included in this important community conversation.
Thank you for your continued support of the Bangor School Department.
