Mrs. Okere spoke with students about her work in juvenile law, sharing real-world insights into how cases involving young people are approached within the legal system. She emphasized the importance of compassion, fairness, and rehabilitation, helping students make meaningful connections between literature, writing, and real-life decision-making. The visit provided an engaging and impactful conclusion to the unit. Thank you to Mrs. Okere for sharing her time and expertise with our students!

There will be a middle school boys lacrosse clinic being held at the James F Doughty School on Saturday's from 01/17 through 2/21. The clinics will take place from 12:15-1:45 and is open to any 6th through 8th grade student. More information can be found on the attached flyer.
