On September 30, students from the William S. Cohen School had the opportunity to go on an amazing after school adventure exploring the Corn Maze at Treworgy Orchards! The students had a blast navigating the twists and turns of the maze, all while enjoying the beautiful autumn weather.

Check out these smiles! We love seeing our students having fun, solving puzzles, and making memories.

Dear Cohen Parents and Guardians,

The William S. Cohen School faculty and staff are excited to welcome everyone to the 2025-26 school year! As many of you know, this summer has been a busy one at Cohen due to the major indoor air quality renovation that has taken place all summer.

While the project is nearing completion and we will be ready for the opening of school on September 2, construction has limited the ability for us to prepare the inside of the building for the dates that we tentatively scheduled for the Grade 6 Orientation and Open House.

As a result, we made the following adjustment to the format and dates of these two important opening of school activities. Please take note of the following:

Grade 6 Orientation: The 6th Grade Orientation will still take place on Wednesday, August 27, but the format will change to a Meet & Greet with teachers. The Meet & Greet will take place on the front lawn of the Cohen School from 6:00-7:00pm. Please look for a letter next week from your homeroom teacher along with our opening of school informational letter.

Grade 7-8 Open House: The Open House will take place on Tuesday, September 2 from 6:00-7:00pm. 6th grade students and parents are also welcome to attend to tour the building and meet other teachers that are on your child’s schedule. Please look for our opening letter next week, which will include homeroom assignments and opening of school information.

The first day of school is a special occasion for us all and we look forward to greeting our students and their families at our opening of school events.

Sincerely,
Michael H. Missbrenner
Principal
