After learning about the recent jewel heist at the Louvre museum in Paris, 8th grade French students participated in a scavenger hunt to find a reproduction of the Mona Lisa that Mrs. Dupuy secretly hid in the school.
Students had to ask teachers around the school for clues, which spelled out the French word for the location of the painting. Students worked in groups to figure out which teachers had clues for them, then asked them questions to learn facts about the Louvre.
The class then worked together to put all the letters together to spell the word 'bibliotheque,' which means 'library.' They sped to the library to find the painting, and the whole class won a reward for their detective work.

On a sunny and cool October morning, seventh and eighth graders from the James F. This heartwarming initiative, organized by Mrs. Robinson, Vine Street Pre-K, and Mrs. Robichaud, JFDS’s Phys. Ed. teacher, aims to promote physical fitness and belonging in our school community.
