Bangor High School has announced the launch of an exciting new initiative called BookBreak, aimed at igniting students' passion for reading and writing through virtual author talks. This innovative program connects students with bestselling authors through live video, allowing them to experience the magic of storytelling directly from the creators themselves.

Recently students from various science classes listened to author Randall Munroe and his fun take on how to answer hypothetical questions using common resources.

All students can still get free breakfast and lunch at school every day.

Today Bangor students joined students from Brewer, Hampden, Hermon, and Orono to participate in the Penobscot Regional Special Olympics Bowling Competition at the Family Fun Bowling Center.
